High profile University in Boston/USA established an Office for Sustainability to implement their holistic approach to address climate, equity, and health. They are working to protect the climate and environment, advance a more equitable society, and promote the wellbeing of people at their university and beyond. Their Campus Services Team established their Organics Landscaping program. They evaluated a multitude of non-chemical herbicides as part of their selection process.

FireHawk Bioherbicide was chosen as their preferred weed control product due to its high performance, environmental profile, independently validated benefits to soil health and cost structure. FireHawk Bioherbicide was applied as a 500ml FireHawk /10L water spray mixture in their spot spraying applications. Spray backpacks equipped with full cone nozzles were used for weed control. The Campus Services Team used FireHawk Bioherbicide in the same way as they used conventional herbicides like glyphosate previously. They confirmed that our bioherbicide works as well as chemical herbicides in their landscaping application with the benefit of FireHawk suppressing the weed regrowth and allowing them to extend the periods for resprays.
